Quran Explorer version 3 release 7 (September 2011)

A Quran Explorer online edition is available if you would like to preview the software. For mobile users, a Mobile QE designed forcellular phones has also been released. If you run into compatibility issues and need to revert to an earlier version, QE version 2 is also available.

Quran Explorer is a Windows-based software that allows you to read Quran and search for specific keywords. Also supports printing, and has add-ons for voice (computer reading of verses), and much more.

Visual and easy-to-use approach to searching and printing verses, and many new features.

Add-ons currently ready include Voice and Concordance of all words that appear in the Quran translation.

The software is under development and some features are not fully implemented. However, it should not damage your system, and can be easily uninstalled if so desired (from Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs), God willing. If you notice any bugs, please let us know at info@masjidtucson.org

 

Installation Instructions
  1. Create an empty folder on your desktop.
  2. Click on the Download link and download the file "QE3.zip" to the newly created folder.
  3. The file "QE3.zip" should now be in the new folder. Uncompress the file to extract contents.
  4. Double click "setup.exe" to begin installation (note: Windows 7 users, please right click and select "Run as administrator")
  5. From the installation menu, you can select customization options.
  6. Note: If you have an older version of the software, please uninstall it first
