The treasure that is the Quran

O people, enlightenment has come to you herein from your Lord and healing for anything that troubles your hearts, and guidance, and mercy for the believers. (10:57)

This scripture has been revealed to you - you shall not harbor doubt about it in your heart- that you may warn with it, and to pro-vide a reminder for the believers. You shall all follow what is re-vealed to you from your Lord… (7:2-3)

We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and mercy for the people who believe. (7:52).

When you pick up the Quran and start to read its verses you will begin a wonderful journey that

will take you through the endless joys and riches of the words that God has sent down to mankind. As you read and study its verses a world of untold treasures, knowledge and wisdom will guide you to the path of the Almighty, Most Wise. The Quran is a beacon that can lead you to the success and glory of eternal life. It will lead you through this minefield of sin and vice to the glory of God’s kingdom here on earth.

The Quran is God’s blessing and mercy to mankind. It fulfills God’s promise to Adam and his descendants:

…When guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow My guidance will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. (2:38)

The Quran gives us warnings of the consequences of disbelieving in God and His proven word. It details past disbelieving communities and the consequences that befell them for rejecting God’s words. The disbelievers can never succeed.

It offers us hope, knowing that we all can sin, but God is the Most Merciful and even Moses was accepted as a prophet after killing a person.

It gives us good news of an eternal Paradise that gives us everything that we desire (43:71) and even more if we follow the guidance of the Almighty.
