Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, God tells us to treat one another in the nicest possible manner (41:34-35). In this world, we see many examples of people being mean, arrogant and ugly--because being nice to others in politics or business is considered weak and foolish. People value being "right" more than being "righteous". God's system works differently, because we're all seeking God Alone and we do our best to be humble and kind (52:26). This is why, by God's leave, believers can be united like one family. [Quran 41:34] Not equal is the good response and the bad response. You shall resort to the nicest possible response. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend. Unity of All Submitters [Quran 2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. For an article on Unity, please visit: http://masjidtucson.org/submission/perspectives/more/traits/unity.html Peace.
