In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,


As humans, we have many weaknesses including being unappreciative, impatient, anxious, stingy, etc. (14:34, 17:100, 17:11, 7:109). Since God created us with these characteristics, is it then okay to display those traits? 

Certainly not! God tells us the good traits He expects from submitters. We must place God's command of charity over our natural stinginess (59:9). And resort to patience over our desire for revenge (16:126-127).

[Quran 26:63-64] The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace. In the privacy of the night, they meditate on their Lord, and fall prostrate. (25:63-64)
