Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

All submitters go through tests. These tests are designed to separate those who worship God alone under all circumstances from those who do not (Quran 29:2). Fear is one of Satan's tools and can be a test. Satan tries to put fear in our hearts or to trick us into doubting God's Omniscience and Omnipotence. To help us pass the test, God provided us with guidance in the Quran. God forewarns us:

   Fear: The Devil's Tool
[Quran 3:175] It is the devil's system to instill fear into his subjects. Do not fear them and fear Me instead, if you are believers.

Submitters fear only God. God reassures the submitters that if they remain steadfast, they will prevail with His help.

[Quran 2:155-157] We will surely test you through some fear, hunger, and loss of money, lives, and crops. Give good news to the steadfast.* When an affliction befalls them, they say, "We belong to GOD, and to Him we are returning." These have deserved blessings from their Lord and mercy. These are the guided ones.

When Satan tries to whisper and put fear in our hearts, we must remember and implore God.

[Quran 7:200] When the devil whispers to you any whisper, seek refuge in GOD; He is Hearer, Omniscient.

   To Be Protected From Satan
[Quran 23:97-98] Say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. "And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me."
