Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, The last sura revealed (Sura 110, Triumph) reads: In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful [110:1] When triumph comes from GOD, and victory. [110:2] You will see the people embracing GOD's religion in throngs. [110:3] You shall glorify and praise your Lord, and implore Him for forgiveness. He is the Redeemer. *110:1-3 This last sura, chronologically, consists of 19 Arabic words (see 96:1), and the first verse consists of 19 letters. This indicates that this generation of believers shall attain the promised victory. Submission (true Islam) will prevail throughout the world (48:28). This is wonderful news for the Submitters and Believers, and we are eager to see it in our lifetime. We may wonder how it will come to be or look for signs that might point to its imminent arrival. None of us know the date it will happen. For whenever it does come to pass, our focus in this life should be to work hard on redeeming ourselves. We must correct our ways and do our very best to follow all of God's commands. God willing, we are thus prepared for the Greatest triumph as well (Quran 4:13, 5:119, 9:72, 9:89, ...). [Quran 90:4] We created the human being to work hard (to redeem himself).* *90:4 See the Introduction and Appendix 7 for the purpose behind our creation. Peace.
