Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, When we say "Praise be to God" (Al-Hamdu Lillah) or "Glory be to God" (Subhan Allah), do we really mean it? Or has it become routine? Do we just say the words and don't really understand what we are saying? It may help us to reflect on the fact that to God belongs all praise, He is Most Praiseworthy (Quran 22:64, 28:70, 30:18, 31:26, 34:6, etc.). [Quran 22:64] To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Absolutely, GOD is the Most Rich, Most Praiseworthy. Commemorating and praising God provides us with a huge amount of soul growth (Quran 73:8); it is one of God's most beloved forms of worship. So we must remember to reverence God and mean every word we say. May God help us grow closer to Him and be happy. [Quran 20:130] ... and praise and glorify your Lord before sunrise and before sunset. And during the night glorify Him, as well as at both ends of the day, that you may be happy. Remember God, Always [Quran 30:17] Therefore, you shall glorify GOD when you retire at night, and when you rise in the morning. [30:18] All praise is due to Him in the heavens and the earth, throughout the evening, as well as in the middle of your day.
