Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 48:1] We have bestowed upon you (O Messenger) a great victory. [48:2] Whereby GOD forgives your past sins, as well as future sins, and perfects His blessings upon you, and guides you in a straight path. God perfects His blessings upon us (Quran 2:150, 5:3, 5:6, 16:81 48:1-2) in many ways. This is a great gift. We have so many blessings every day in our lives, things that we are largely oblivious to. When we leave the house, will the house still be standing when we return? When we kiss our children and send them off to school, will they come home safe and sound? When we go to sleep, will we wake up with our hearing, eyesight and health in the morning? We expect these things to happen, and when they do, we simply take them for granted. But these everyday things are a great blessing from God. Otherwise we would be in constant chaos and worry about everything in our lives and all around us. [Quran 16:81] And GOD provided for you shade through things which He created, and provided for you shelters in the mountains, and provided for you garments that protect you from heat, and garments that protect when you fight in wars. He thus perfects His blessings upon you, that you may submit. God has promised that if we worship Him alone, He will make our lives wonderful (Quran 5:12, 10:62-64, 13:29, 16:30, 16:97, 24:55, 39:17, etc.). This is part of perfecting His blessings upon us. We need to find the ways to be more appreciative of the little and big things in our lives that God fully and beautifully controls every minute of every day. [Quran 31:20] Do you not see that GOD has committed in your service everything in the heavens and the earth, and has showered you with His blessings― obvious and hidden? Yet, some people argue about GOD without knowledge, without guidance, and without the enlightening scripture.
