Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, As the month of fasting draws to a close, we thank God for the blessing to grow our souls and appreciate the gift of guidance (Quran 2:185). One of the ways to remember God is by commemorating His name (Quran 76:25-26). Many submitters take advantage of the Night of Destiny (Quran Sura 97; 27th night of Ramadan) to gain extra credit by commemorating God the Almighty either in the privacy of their homes or in a masjid with other submitters. God tells us in Quran to remember Him frequently, and to be appreciative (Quran 2:152, 4:103, 7:205, 33:41-42, etc.). With God's help, we continue to try and grow our souls by remembering God every day of our lives. [Quran 76:25] And commemorate the name of your Lord day and night. [76:26] During the night, fall prostrate before Him, and glorify Him many a long night. [Quran 87:14] Successful indeed is the one who redeems his soul. [87:15] By remembering the name of his Lord, and observing the contact prayers (Salat).
