Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, As submitters we know that only God controls all things. He blesses us constantly with wonderful provisions when He knows we deserve them, but He may also reduce them occasionally to test our response to whatever He gives us (Quran 2:155-157). God alone knows what is best for us and has designed our tests accordingly. While we may wonder why we face tough situations sometimes, our duty as Submitters is to accept our tests cheerfully, and have complete faith that what God is doing is best for us. The encouraging aspect of tests from God is that God helps us come out better and stronger. God assures us that every test is suitable for us and we can pass it with His help. In any test (blessing or affliction) We must be steadfast and implore Him in all situations of joy as well as fear (Quran 13:14, 21:90). Tests from God are not permanently damaging and God will restore everything we need and more, and will also make us stronger submitters. Everything God does with us is always good news for us! [Quran 3:186] You will certainly be tested, through your money and your lives, and you will hear from those who received the scripture, and from the idol worshipers, a lot of insult. If you steadfastly persevere and lead a righteous life, this will prove the strength of your faith. [Quran 2:286] GOD never burdens a soul beyond its means: to its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. "Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, and protect us from blaspheming against You, like those before us have done. Our Lord, protect us from sinning until it becomes too late for us to repent. Pardon us and forgive us. You are our Lord and Master. Grant us victory over the disbelieving people."
