Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, When something is good for us (e.g., drinking water or exercising), we try to make it a habit and do it regularly. One of the best activities for the real selves, our souls, is appreciation (Quran 2:152, 14:7, 27:40, 31:12, etc.). So why not make a habit of practicing appreciation regularly? [Quran 31:12] We have endowed Luqmãn with wisdom: "You shall be appreciative of GOD." Whoever is appreciative is appreciative for his own good. As for those who turn unappreciative, GOD is in no need, Praiseworthy. [Quran 76:3] We showed him the two paths, then, he is either appreciative, or unappreciative. There is no limit to how much we can appreciate God (Quran 14:34, 16:18). The more we appreciate God, the more our soul grows. The more our soul grows, the happier we are. Why not think of something to spark this cycle now? We thank God for the gift of appreciation.
