Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 38:45-46] Remember also our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were resourceful, and possessed vision. We bestowed upon them a great blessing: awareness of the Hereafter. Belief in the Hereafter is a requirement for happiness in this world and the Hereafter (Quran 2:62, 5:69). God tells us that awareness of the Hereafter, is a "great blessing" (Quran 38:45-46). But it can't be just lip service. Many, many people believe in the idea of heaven and hell, but few people really understand the full meaning. Awareness of the Hereafter means living our life knowing that God is watching us. That we are going to be held accountable for all that we do here in this life. Our record will be shown (53:39-40) and it will be complete with no mistakes, omissions or injustices. We have to live our lives with the full understanding of that reckoning. The Believers [Quran 69:19-22] As for the one who receives his record with his right hand, he will say, "Come read my record. I did believe that I was going to be held accountable." He has deserved a happy life. In an exalted Paradise. Are we living our lives so we're happy to have our record made public? What will we do to be more aware of the Hereafter today?
