Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, One of the first prayers in the Quran is, "Praise be to God, Lord of the universe" (Quran 1:2). This is also the ultimate prayer in Paradise (Quran 10:10). It is a fact that all praise belongs to God in this life and the Hereafter (Quran 28:70, 30:18, 34:1, etc.). The angels know this and sing God's praises and glorify Him (Quran 2:30, 13:13). God reminds us to praise and glorify Him night and day (Quran 20:130, 40:55, etc.). [Quran 10:10] Their prayer therein is: "Be You glorified, our god," their greeting therein is, "Peace," and their ultimate prayer is: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe." [Quran 15:98] You shall sing the praises of your Lord, and be with the prostrators. [Quran 34:1] Praise be to GOD―to whom belongs everything in the heavens and the earth; all praise is also due to Him in the Hereafter. He is the Most Wise, the Cognizant. [Quran 39:75] You will see the angels floating around the throne, glorifying and praising their Lord. After the equitable judgment is issued to all, it will be proclaimed: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe." We praise God because He is Most Praiseworthy. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty, Most Wise, the King of kings. He is our Creator, Provider, Healer, Redeemer, Judge, Forgiver and much more. We praise God for our own good, not because God needs it. The more we think of God, the more we praise Him, the more our soul grows. Let us praise God as much as we can today, and every day.
