Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, We may thank God from time to time, but do we appreciate God as He should be appreciated? One of the very many things to thank God for: is His gift to us of the body. For example, did you know that the focusing muscles of the eyes move about 100,000 times a day? That's but one component of the eyes and in turn the body, glory be to God. Did we thank God recently for our eyes, muscles, blood vessels, nerves and other components of our bodies? [Quran 16:78] GOD brought you out of your mothers' bellies knowing nothing, and He gave you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brains, that you may be appreciative. [Quran 23:12-14] We created the human being from a certain kind of mud. Subsequently, we reproduced him from a tiny drop, that is placed into a well protected repository. Then we developed the drop into a hanging (embryo), then developed the hanging (embryo) into a bite-size (fetus), then created the bite-size (fetus) into bones, then covered the bones with flesh. We thus produce a new creature. Most blessed is GOD, the best Creator. [Quran 59:24] He is the One GOD; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise. Imagine if we had to pay to use the eyes, brain or heart. How much would we be willing to pay? And how much should we thank God for giving them to us?
