Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, A child instinctively seeks the protection of parents, knowing the parent will take care of him or her. As Submitters, we should seek refuge in God, the best and only Protector (Quran 3:173, 4:132, 7:196, 13:11, 3:160, etc.), knowing God alone can help us. Whether it is facing the whispers of the devil (Quran 7:200, 23:97-98, etc.), the evils of the troublemakers (Quran 113:4), or the threats of a tyrant (Quran 40:27), it is a good idea to seek refuge in God. [Quran 4:132] To GOD belongs everything in the heavens and the earth, and GOD is the only Protector. To Be Protected From Satan [Quran 23:97] Say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. [23:98] "And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me." [Quran, Sura 113: Daybreak (Al-Falaq)] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful [113:1] Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. [113:2] "From the evils among His creations. [113:3] "From the evils of darkness as it falls. [113:4] "From the evils of the troublemakers. [113:5] "From the evils of the envious when they envy." God willing, we remember to seek refuge in Him at every opportunity.
