Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, With Thanksgiving next week in the USA, we see reminders to give thanks all around us. Each reminder is a good opportunity to thank God. As Submitters to God, we should be appreciating God all the time. God has given us so much, in terms of provisions for both the soul and the body. Imagine if we did not have access to the Quran and God's message, where would we be? Or if we could not afford to put food on the table, how different would our lives be? [Quran 2:185] Ramadan is the month during which the Quran was revealed, providing guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book. ... GOD wishes for you convenience, not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and to glorify GOD for guiding you, and to express your appreciation. [Quran 2:172] O you who believe, eat from the good things we provided for you, and be thankful to GOD, if you do worship Him alone. By God's Grace [Quran 7:43] ... and they will say, "GOD be praised for guiding us. We could not possibly be guided, if it were not that GOD has guided us. The messengers of our Lord did bring the truth." They will be called: "This is your Paradise. You have inherited it, in return for your works." [Quran 16:121] Because he was appreciative of His Lord's blessings, He chose him and guided him in a straight path. What are we thankful for today?
