Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, The Purpose of Our Existence [Quran 51:56] I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone. This means that everything in our life including all our habits are for the sole purpose of worshiping God alone. We all have simple life habits that we do every day, like wake up in the morning, brush our teeth, eat breakfast, walk the dog, exercise, or some other daily habits that we just simply do every day. Every habit we have can be looked at, and the question can be asked, "Does this habit partake in worshiping God alone, or not?" This does not mean we stop brushing our teeth. Instead, why not use it as an opportunity to thank God for our teeth, our hands, the water and all other products we use in our brushing habit? Rather than it being a mindless habit or one where we think of something meaningless, why not make it a simple (and repeatable) opportunity to remember God?
