In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 20:54] Eat and raise your livestock. These are sufficient proofs for those who possess intelligence.*
*20:54 Those who possess intelligence appreciate the fact that we are astronauts who were launched into space on this 'Spaceship Earth.' God provided us with renewable food, water, pets, wildlife, and livestock, as we embark on this temporary space odyssey. Compare God's provisions to 'Spaceship Earth' with the provisions we give to our astronauts (Appendix 7).

[Quran 22:37] ... He has subdued them for you, that you may show your appreciation by glorifying GOD for guiding you. Give good news to the charitable.

God blessed us with animals, including livestock and pets, to help us be appreciative. Praise God, for the many blessings we enjoy because of animals, e.g., milk, food, transportation, clothing and companionship (Quran 6:142, 23:21-2, etc.)

Only God created them. And only God can subdue them for us (Quran 22:36-37, 36:72). Even when we train dogs or birds, it is because God made it possible (Quran 5:4). It is all from God.

May God help us be appreciative the next time we see a bird flying in the sky, reach for some meat in the market, or drink some delicious milk (Quran 16:66).
