In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

If you had an opportunity to add 1000 dollars to your bank account with a few seconds of effort, would you take it? What about adding a million in a few minutes?

God, Possessor of Infinite Grace and Mercy, gives each one of us opportunities to earn that and more by working righteousness. Would we as eagerly take those kinds of opportunities for our souls?

Whether it's taking a few seconds to thank God, or a few minutes to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), the opportunities are freely available. It's up to us to make the best of them.

[Quran 2:148] Each of you chooses the direction to follow; you shall race towards righteousness. Wherever you may be, GOD will summon you all. GOD is Omnipotent.

[Quran 2:152] You shall remember Me, that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me; do not be unappreciative.

     The Contact Prayers
[Quran 4:103] Once you complete your Contact Prayer (Salat), you shall remember GOD while standing, sitting, or lying down.* ...
*4:103 Your god is whoever or whatever occupies your mind most of the day. In order to belong in God's kingdom, and enjoy His grace and protection, the Quran exhorts us to remember God "always" (2:152 & 200, 3:191, 33:41-42). This profound fact explains the numerous verses asserting that "most" of those who believe in God are going to Hell (12:106, 23:84-89, 29:61-63, 31:25, 39:38, 43:87).
