Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help. The Unforgivable Sin [Quran 4:116] GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray. *4:116 A simple definition of idolatry: Believing that anything beside God can help you. All humans need help. And in reality God is the only one who can provide help (Quran 23:88). Even though in worldly terms it appears we can help one another, it is only by God's leave. Our money, hearing, eyesight, brains, and all good things come from God (Quran 10:31, 16:78, 24:33, 27:64). And if God takes it away, no one else can restore it (Quran 6:46). May God help us be mindful and thankful of the fact that all help truly comes from Him alone.
