Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, The devil is man's most ardent enemy. The Quran mentions Satan as an enemy (often as the most ardent enemy) over 10 times (Quran 2:168, 2:208; 6:142; 7:22; 12:5; 17:53; 20:117; 28:15; 35:6; 36:60; 43:62). The devil uses many tools to trick and divert humans from the worship of one God. We should do our best to avoid them with God's help. Some of the tools Satan uses include: Idol worship (2:14; 4:60, 4:116-8) Usury (2:275) Tyranny (4:76) Rumors/lies (4:83) Fear of anything or anyone except God (3:175) Intoxicants, gambling, games of chance (5:90-91) Driving wedges among God's servants (17:53) [Quran 7:200] When the devil whispers to you any whisper, seek refuge in GOD; He is Hearer, Omniscient. May God forgive us, and help us stay away from the tools of the devil.
