Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

	Profound Question
[Quran 39:36] Is GOD not sufficient for His servant? They frighten you with the idols they set up beside Him. Whomever GOD sends astray, nothing can guide him.

[Quran 1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help.


The Quran teaches us to worship God alone and turn to Him alone for help (Quran 1:5). This includes not taking other names in our proclamation of faith or worship practices.

When we have a problem, who do we turn to for help? Who or what do we think can protect us? Is God sufficient for us?

Recognizing our dependence on God is a good thing. It allows us to turn to Him and submit to Him totally. Only our Creator can (and does) help us if we turn completely to Him alone (Quran 22:15).
