Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 21:35] Every soul will taste death, after we put you to the test through adversity and prosperity, then to us you ultimately return. The test is designed to prove that we worship God alone under all circumstances (Quran 2:155, 29:2). Do we remain steadfastly devoted to God when things are tough? What about when we are blessed with prosperity and success? Do we submit to God and act in a righteous manner? The Quran is full of wisdom on how to respond to tests. For example, the story of David teaches us that the pious implore God for forgiveness when tested (Quran 38:24). From Solomon we learn the importance of appreciating God when we are tested with blessings (Quran 27:40). Each moment of our life may be considered as an opportunity or a test to see if will worship God alone. God knows all of our thoughts and all our deeds. Do we live our lives knowing God is seer of everything we do?
