In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 1:6] Guide us in the right path;

[Quran 2:185] ... GOD wishes for you convenience, not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and to glorify GOD for guiding you, and to express your appreciation.

	By God's Grace
[Quran 7:43] We will remove all jealousy from their hearts. Rivers will flow beneath them, and they will say, "GOD be praised for guiding us. We could not possibly be guided, if it were not that GOD has guided us. The messengers of our Lord did bring the truth." They will be called: "This is your Paradise. You have inherited it, in return for your works."

There are so many gifts from God in our lives. We have to try to remember to be thankful for each of them. I think sometimes overlooked is the gift that makes everything else possible--and that's the gift of guidance. An indicator of the importance of guidance in our lives--is that God designed sura Al-Fătehah (The Key) to include our praying for guidance. The Key is the first sura in the Quran, and the only sura that is recited in the Contact Prayers (Salat), 17 times a day.

May God help us be among those who appreciate His guidance in this world and the next (Quran 7:43).
