Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 90:11-18] He should choose the difficult path.
 Which one is the difficult path?
 The freeing of slaves.
 Feeding, during the time of hardship.
 Orphans who are related.
 Or the poor who is in need.
 And being one of those who believe, and exhorting one another to be steadfast, and exhorting one another to be kind.
 These have deserved happiness.

With the recent COVID19 outbreak we each face different tests. One test is how we respond when others are in need. Will we be charitable? Will we try to feed the hungry?

God is the Provider. May He help us give to charity seeking to please Him alone (Quran 2:261-7, 2:272, 24:22, 76:8-10).
