Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Happiness Now, and Forever [Quran 22:15] If anyone thinks that GOD cannot support him in this life and in the Hereafter, let him turn completely to (his Creator in) heaven, and sever (his dependence on anyone else). He will then see that this plan eliminates anything that bothers him. [Psalm 91:1-7] You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, Say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." For He will rescue you from the snare of the fowler, from the destroying pestilence. With His pinions He will cover you, under His wings you shall take refuge; His faithfulness is a buckler and a shield. You shall not fear the terror of the night, and the arrow that flies by day; You shall not fear the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the devastating plague at noon. Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right side, near you it shall not come. God is running everything. This is something we try to remember. Especially during the COVID19 pandemic. Each day the news paints a story that continues to change. And while we don't know what will happen, we know there's a good reason for everything (Quran 18:66-82). We cannot control anything. But God controls all things. We put our trust in God and pray to Him. Only God can help us and protect us. May God keep us devoted to Him alone and protect us.
