Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 76:3] We showed him the two paths, then, he is either appreciative, or unappreciative. Appreciative vs Unappreciative [Quran 14:7] Your Lord has decreed: "The more you thank Me, the more I give you." But if you turn unappreciative, then My retribution is severe. God reminds us multiple times in the Quran to be appreciative of every thing that we have. He reminds us that being appreciative is for our own benefit. It benefits our souls. God promises that the more you thank Him the more He will give you (Quran 14:7). No one but God can give us a promise like this wherein He wants us to be thankful and not take things around us for granted, and in return He gives us more. So let us keep reminding ourselves to constantly thank God for everything that he has given us. Even if you start small, just keep at it, and God willing you will go a long way.
