Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Wisdom: A Great Treasure [Quran 2:269] He bestows wisdom upon whomever He chooses, and whoever attains wisdom, has attained a great bounty. Only those who possess intelligence will take heed. The Contact Prayers: Gift From God [Quran 14:40] "My Lord, make me one who consistently observes the Contact Prayers (Salat), and also my children. Our Lord, please answer my prayers. Do you enjoy receiving gifts? A dictionary defines a gift as: "something given voluntarily without payment in return, as to show favor toward someone". If we think about it, the favors, blessings and gifts by God upon us are immense. Especially considering our poor choices during the Great Feud and not making a firm stand with our Lord. Gifts in this world may tarnish or fade. But God's wonderful gifts and favors can benefit His servants through eternity. These include guidance (Quran 49:17), religious duties (Quran 14:40), the scripture (Quran 2:151, 4:113), wisdom (Quran 2:269) and so much more. Reflection exercise: How many gifts from God can we count?
