Peace be upon you,

Valentine's day is associated in some cultures with love. We learn from the Quran that God is the One who designed humans to love their spouses (Quran 30:21). God also reminds us that while we may love our spouses or children or parents, we should love God the most (Quran 2:165, 9:24).

[Quran 2:165] ... Those who believe love GOD the most. ...


We should ask ourselves if we love God the most. And if we love God the most, do we try our best to follow His words every day (Quran 3:31)?
