Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 3:17] They are steadfast, truthful, submitting, charitable, and meditators at dawn. In this world, we respect those who steadfastly persevere, whether it's an employee or a student or an athlete. We expect that excellence requires hard work. What about for our soul? The Quran teaches us to be steadfast through prosperity (Quran 38:34) and adversity (Quran 38:44). It (steadfastness) is a trait of the righteous (Quran 2:177, 3:17, 33:35, etc.). Notably -- steadfastness is a trait that God loves (Quran 3:146). Isn't that good enough reason to be steadfast?
