Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help. Happiness Now, and Forever [Quran 22:15] If anyone thinks that GOD cannot support him in this life and in the Hereafter, let him turn completely to (his Creator in) heaven, and sever (his dependence on anyone else). He will then see that this plan eliminates anything that bothers him. God teaches us to worship Him alone and turn to Him alone for help (Quran 1:5). The more we think about it -- the more logical it becomes. Why ask help from those who are powerless? Won't a powerless entity need to ask someone else for help? Won't he be worried about his own self first? Isn't that a recipe for disappointment? Would it not make more sense to ask for help from the One who is Omnipotent and Omniscient? The One who is Alive and never dies? The One who can provide help but needs no help? Which option will eliminate what bothers us and make us happy? May we always turn to God alone for help.
