Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 23:109] ... 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and shower us with mercy. Of all the merciful ones, You are the Most Merciful.' [Quran 7:153] As for those who committed sins, then repented thereafter and believed, your Lord―after this--is Forgiver, Most Merciful. The last verse revealed in Quran reminds us that God is the Redeemer (and we should implore Him for forgiveness): [110:3] You shall glorify and praise your Lord, and implore Him for forgiveness. He is the Redeemer. We humans are in great need of God's forgiveness. We are on earth because of our original sin and failure to repent thereafter and submit to God's absolute authority. And even though we have received God's message, we continue to commit sins and make mistakes. God, the Forgiver, Most Merciful tells us not to despair (Quran 39:53), and gives us time on this earth to do better (Quran 46:15). But, we must repent, reform and work righteousness before it is too late (Quran 2:286, 4:18, 10:90-91, 39:54-56).
