In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 35:5] O people, GOD's promise is the truth; therefore, do not be distracted by this lowly life. Do not be diverted from GOD by mere illusions.

[Quran 63:9] O you who believe, do not be distracted by your money and your children from remembering GOD. Those who do this are the losers.

This world is full of distractions--whether it's at home or at work. We can be distracted by other people, money or our possessions. While the worldly blessings themselves are not to blame, we don't want to be distracted from remembering or commemorating God (Quran 24:37, 63:9, etc.). Instead we want to be aware of and prioritize the Hereafter (Quran 24:37).

May God help us remember Him and be thankful throughout our day (Quran 2:152, 7:205, etc.).
