In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,


[Quran 5:35] O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD and seek the ways and means to Him, and strive in His cause, that you may succeed.

[Quran 59:18] O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD, and let every soul examine what it has sent ahead for tomorrow. You shall reverence GOD; GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.


Reverencing God is a trait of the Submitters (Quran 33:35). The Quran has many reminders about being reverent. E.g., in our worship (Quran 7:56, 32:16), during the Contact Prayers (Salat) (Quran 23:2), while giving to charity (Quran 23:60), etc.

Let us try to be like the other creatures of God including the mountains, the heavens and the angels (Quran 13:13, 42:5, 59:21, 2:74, etc.), so our hearts are filled with reverence for God.
