In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

	The Quran's Common Denominator
[Quran 74:30] Over it is nineteen.*
[74:31] We appointed angels to be guardians of Hell, and we assigned their number (19)
(1) to disturb the disbelievers,
(2) to convince the Christians and Jews (that this is a divine scripture),
(3) to strengthen the faith of the faithful,
(4) to remove all traces of doubt from the hearts of Christians, Jews, as well as the believers, and
(5) to expose those who harbor doubt in their hearts, and the disbelievers; they will say, "What did GOD mean by this allegory?" GOD thus sends astray whomever He wills, and guides whomever He wills. None knows the soldiers of your Lord except He. This is a reminder for the people.


The Quran's mathematical code, one of the greatest miracles (Quran 74:35), is a blessing. It strengthens the faith of the faithful (Quran 74:30). It proves the Quran's divine authorship (Quran 10:1, 74:30). The mathematical proof also confirms the five daily Contact Prayers and serves many other functions, by God's leave, e.g., confirming all previous miracles sent by God (Quran 2:106). The proof is tangible and perpetual -- it can be witnessed by anyone at any time. Praise be to God.

Although the nineteen-based miracle is irrefutable, many people refuse to accept it. They reject physical facts such as: the first verse of the Quran (the Basmalah) contains 19 letters, the Quran contains 114 suras (19 x 6), the Basmalah occurs 114 (19 x 6) times in the Quran, etc. This goes to confirm another purpose of the Quran's miracle, i.e., to expose disbelief and doubt (Quran 74:31).

Let us appreciate this great miracle and thank God that He has allowed us to be among the faithful who witness it.
