In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 3:159-160] ... and trust in GOD. GOD loves those who trust in Him.*
 If GOD supports you, none can defeat you. And if He abandons you, who else can support you? In GOD the believers shall trust.
*3:159 The currency of the U.S.A. is the only currency that carries the phrase: "In God we trust." It is a fact that the American dollar has been the strongest currency in the world, and the standard by which all other currencies are measured.

[Quran 1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help.


When we hear negative news or encounter adversity it may seem we are not safe. Satan may try to instill fear or despair in our heart. Such times are a test. Will we turn to God or will we turn away?

The Lord of the Universe is the only One who can help us and protect us. As people of faith, one of our tests is to worship God alone under all circumstances. This includes trusting in God no matter what happens (Quran 3:173, 9:40, 14:12, 33:22, 33:48, etc.). We know that as long as we steadfastly persevere in righteousness, He will take care of us (Quran 2:153, 3:125, 3:159-160, 5:12, 10:62-64, 13:11, etc.).

May God help us turn to Him alone (Quran 22:15) and seek His help alone (Quran 1:5).
