Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Rules of War* [Quran 2:190] You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors. *2:190 All fighting is regulated by the basic rule in 60:8-9. Fighting is allowed strictly in self-defense, while aggression and oppression are strongly condemned throughout the Quran. [Quran 3:104] Let there be a community of you who invite to what is good, advocate righteousness, and forbid evil. These are the winners. God allows fighting strictly in self-defense. Aggression and oppression are strongly condemned. Unfortunately, Satan's constituents fail to uphold God's laws including the prohibition on unjustifiable aggression (Quran 5:87, 7:33). This leads war, chaos and misery. On the Day of Judgment, each soul is held accountable. Meanwhile, the only exit from oppression, chaos and suffering is for us to follow God's system. May God guide us, bless us with peace and protect us from worshiping idols (Quran 14:35).
