Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 1:1] In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.* [Quran 2:163] Your god is one god; there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. [Quran 24:20] GOD showers you with His grace and mercy. GOD is Most Kind towards the believers, Most Merciful. "Most Gracious" and "Most Merciful" are the first attributes of God we see in the Quran. What are some examples of God's grace and mercy? Let's start with a big one: We are in this world due to God's immense mercy. The Most Gracious has given us a chance to redeem ourselves. Even the angels weren't sure we deserved this chance. But, if we are worthy of God's grace and mercy -- then we can be guided and can make it back to Heaven, God willing (Quran 7:43, 11:119). To be eligible for God's grace we should be among those who worship Him alone, seek His forgiveness and repent to Him (Quran 11:2-3). And while God's mercy encompasses all things, He specifies it for those who lead a righteous life, give the obligatory charity (Zakat), believe in His revelations (Quran 7:156) and follow what the prophet Muhammad brought in the Quran (Quran 7:156-157). What will we do today to be eligible for God's grace and mercy?
