Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 3:154] ... GOD thus puts you to the test to bring out your true convictions, and to test what is in your hearts. GOD is fully aware of the innermost thoughts. [Quran 47:31] We will certainly put you to the test, in order to distinguish those among you who strive, and steadfastly persevere. We must expose your true qualities. Before we can graduate college or receive a professional certification, we are tested to see what we know and whether we can apply it. We prepare thoroughly and during the test or practical exam we are focused and display our best professional behavior. How do we approach the tests for our souls? Do we prepare by studying the Quran carefully? Do we examine ourselves so we can work on our weaknesses? Our we on our best behavior during our tests? May we be among those who seek God's help (Quran 2:45), commemorate Him frequently (Quran 8:45) and work hard (Quran 90:4). May God help us pass our tests.
