In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 30:43] Therefore, you shall devote yourself completely to this perfect religion, before a day comes which is made inevitable by GOD. On that day, they will be shocked.

What is the perfect religion? According to the dictionary, "perfect" means having all the required or desirable elements. And "religion" is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power. But if you asked 100 people on the street what is the perfect religion, you'd probably get 50 different answers. Instead, let us examine what God describes as perfect because only God can make something perfect.

According to Quran 30:30, the perfect religion is the religion of strict monotheism. This means we recognize God's absolute authority, and reach an unshakeable conviction that God ALONE possesses all power; no other entity possesses any power that is independent of Him. The natural result of such a realization is to devote our lives and our worship absolutely to Him alone. This is the First Commandment in all God's scriptures.

May God help us follow the perfect religion and devote our life and worship to Him alone.
