In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 49:1] O you who believe, do not place your opinion above that of GOD and His messenger. You shall reverence GOD. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.


We all have opinions, that's human. The danger is putting opinions above what God has given us. According to Quran, the people who persist in following opinions and conjecture instead of the truth from God are those who disbelieve (54:3), have gone astray (5:77), are not guided by God (6:56), lack knowledge (6:148, 30:29, 45:24), follow their parents (2:170) or traditions (54:3), are full of doubt (45:32) and the majority (6:116). We do not want to be like these people.

Instead, we want to follow the word of God. God's word is the absolute truth (Quran 6:73). May God help us follow the truth and devote our worship absolutely to Him alone.
