Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 6:103] No visions can encompass Him, but He encompasses all visions. He is the Compassionate, the Cognizant. Qualities of the Believers [Quran 48:29] Muhammad―the messenger of GOD―and those with him are harsh and stern against the disbelievers, but kind and compassionate amongst themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, as they seek GOD's blessings and approval. ... Compassion is defined as being aware of the suffering of others along with a desire to help them. Kindness is a related trait. While we can never be as compassionate as God, the Most Kind, Most Merciful, we are encouraged to be kind and compassionate in this world towards those who believe in God, our parents, those in need, when inviting to God, among our people, etc. Compassion and kindness lead to being charitable (without seeking anything in return Quran 2:271, 76:8-9). Even if we have no money, we can "give" with kind words and compassion. We pray that our kindness and tolerance may help us attain God's forgiveness and mercy (Quran 24:22).
