In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

To be successful in this world, experts encourage setting a personal mission or legacy. For example, "What would I want people to say about me if I were to die tomorrow?" And then acting towards achieving that mission.

For our souls, we can replace "people" with "God". Or, "What would I want God to say about me if I were to die tomorrow?" We know that it will be to no avail for us on Judgment Day what anybody thinks of us in this world, if God is not pleased with us. As a blessing from Him, God defines and clarifies our mission and purpose of our existence in this worldly life in many verses of the Quran (Quran 51:56, 45:22, 67:2, etc.).

	The Purpose of Our Existence
[Quran 51:56-58] I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.
 I need no provisions from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.
 GOD is the Provider, the Possessor of all power, the Supreme.


Mission reflection: What is our mission / what do we want God to say about us? And what are we doing to achieve that mission?
