Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, [Quran 96:1] Read, in the name of your Lord, who created.* [96:2] He created man from an embryo. [96:3] Read, and your Lord, Most Exalted. [96:4] Teaches by means of the pen. [96:5] He teaches man what he never knew. It is a blessing to be able to read. Can you imagine not being able to read at all, including never being able to read the Quran? As recently as the 1960s, less than half the world's population was literate. It is a privilege to be born in our generation where we learned to read and write as children. How do we appreciate this blessing? Do we read the Quran at dawn (Quran 17:78) and night (Quran 73:20)? Do we study it carefully?
