Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Who will make it to heaven? According to most religious groups, only the members of their faith. But what does the Quran say? [Quran 2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. Submission to God is not about labels. It is about belief and righteousness. The best believer is the most righteous. And God is the One who knows who a person truly is. Let us take heed of the following verses from Quran (and their subtitles). All Believers Are Redeemed, Regardless of the Name of Their Religion [Quran 2:111] Some have said, "No one will enter Paradise except Jews or Christians!" Such is their wishful thinking. Say, "Show us your proof, if you are right." Submission: The Only Religion [2:112] Indeed, those who submit themselves absolutely to GOD alone, while leading a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. And let us strive to become the best possible Submitter that we can be, so that on the Day of Judgment, we will be accepted into Paradise.
