In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 33:41] O you who believe, you shall remember GOD frequently.*
  [33:42] You shall glorify Him day and night.
*33:41-42 Your god is whatever occupies your thoughts most of the time. Hence the commandment to commemorate God and glorify Him day and night. See Appendix 27.


Our number one job is to worship God alone (Quran 51:56). Once we do that, everything else falls in place.

A good carpenter or mechanic has a box full of good tools for each job he might need to perform. A good submitter needs a toolbox as well, and God has provided us with the tools we need. When we wake up in the morning, let us thank God for the day and start with, "In the name of God Most Gracious, Most Merciful. There is no other god beside God".  When we eat or drink anything, let us remember His name and thank God for the provision. Let us be kind and humble with the people we meet, greeting them with peace. Especially honor our parents. When we start our car, let us remember to acknowledge that only God subdued it for our use.

Challenge for today: Can we can make remembering God our priority, and make everything about God? And be aware that everything belongs to God and is controlled by God? Can we pray to Him for guidance and help every time we face a decision or problem?
