Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Some believe that God's love is unconditional. But the Quran teaches us that although God's mercy encompasses all things (Quran 7:156), God's love is reserved for those who abide by what is good. Do we want to be among those God loves? Then we need to be aware of who God loves and does not love. For example, God loves the righteous (Quran 5:93), the charitable (Quran 2:195), those who are just (Quran 49:9), and more. But God does not love the transgressors (Quran 7:55), the aggressors (Quran 2:190), those who are arrogant (Quran 28:76), etc. [Quran 3:76] Indeed, those who fulfill their obligations and lead a righteous life, GOD loves the righteous. [Quran 2:160] As for those who repent, reform, and proclaim, I redeem them. I am the Redeemer, Most Merciful. May God help us practice what He loves, and help us stay away from things He does not love.
