In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 1:4] Master of the Day of Judgment.

	This Life is Very Short
[Quran 16:77] To GOD belongs the future of the heavens and the earth. As far as He is concerned, the end of the world (the Hour) is a blink of an eye away, or even closer. GOD is Omnipotent.

The Day of Judgment is inevitable—that's something we're all aware of. We also need to realize how very close it may be. God tells us it's "fast approaching" (Quran 21:1), it's "imminent" (Quran 40:18, 53:57), it's "closer" than we think (Quran 17:51), He tells us to remember that "every day on earth brings them closer to the end" (Quran 13:41, 21:44). God is the only One who knows our ultimate destiny. The time of our death is prerecorded and known only to God. We have to live each day as if it's the last. People facing terminal illnesses recognize this fact. We have to be aware that everyone on earth is terminal--we just don't know when the time will come or how. It might be a sudden heart attack or we may pass in our sleep, with no time to prepare for the end. So we better prepare now, every day, every minute. We need to keep our focus on God and lead a righteous life pleasing to Him. That way whenever the end comes and by whatever means, we will be prepared to come before God with faces filled with joy (Quran 88:8).
