In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[Quran 1:6-7] Guide us in the right path;
 the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.

[Quran 10:57] O people, enlightenment has come to you herein from your Lord, and healing for anything that troubles your hearts, and guidance, and mercy for the believers.

There are so many gifts from God in our lives. We try to be thankful for each of them. Sometimes we overlook the gift that makes everything else possible--and that is the gift of guidance.

Guidance is so important that the Most Gracious included a prayer asking for guidance in the opening chapter of the Quran, The Key (Al-Fatehah). This gives us an opportunity to pray for guidance at least seventeen times a day (in the Contact Prayers)!

May God guide us in the right path.
