Subject: [Masjid Tucson] Submission weekly reminder In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Peace be upon you, Knowing God [Quran 10:61] You do not get into any situation, nor do you recite any Quran, nor do you do anything, without us being witnesses thereof as you do it. Not even an atom's weight is out of your Lord's control, be it in the heavens or the earth. Nor is there anything smaller than an atom, or larger, that is not recorded in a profound record. One of the lessons we learn from the story of Moses and his teacher (Quran 18:65-82) is that there is a good reason behind everything. Sometimes, we may be tempted to object to things that we don't understand or when things don't go our way. And other times, if we are to blame for things going wrong, we may be in denial and not accept our own mistakes. Submission includes recognizing who God truly is. This means understanding that He is aware of everything, and nothing--even the smallest atom--is beyond His control (Quran 10:61). Living with this belief means devoting our lives and worship fully to God alone. Leading a righteous life brings us peace and happiness (Quran 10:62-64). By turning entirely to God, we free ourselves from worry and disturbance (Quran 22:15). Reference: Acceptance, https://www.masjidtucson.org/publications/books/sp/2024/oct/page1.html Peace.
